JOIN THE LIVE WEBINAR
Scroll social media and everyone has a latte in one hand and a paintbrush in the other while they watch their brilliant children frolic with well-behaved dogs in fields of clover.
In real life, trying to keep everyone safe and make life fun can seem like too much for any regular family to achieve.
We know you want to enjoy your family and that you can’t do everything for everybody.
We’re here to tell you that those social media posts are the exception, not the rule, and that everyday people can find their joy while maintaining safe boundaries.
We’ll talk about:
- The biggest joys and fears of living with kids and dogs
- How tried and tested management strategies can be the difference between smooth sailing and stormy seas
- How dog trainers can help you maintain sanity and safety
- Any questions you might have for a trainer, a mom, a dog lover, a working person, a tired person trying to keep everyone happy and healthy!

Kizz has been helping families and their dogs slow down and figure each other out since 2014. She focuses on discovering the causes of behavior and working to change our dogs’ associations with the things that trigger their reactions. This is how we change behavior for the long haul.
She's got your back so that you can concentrate on enjoying your dog and your kids!
Jennie is a transplant Brooklynite with a passion for all things data, research & animals. At home, she’s a mom + fur mom wrangling animals & a 3 year old underfoot. At work, she’s a thought leader at a marketing technology company. Her first animal was a cat who adopted her in the yard when she was 3. All types of animals, from hawks to bears to kids, have been following her ever since. Jennie completed 160 hours of assisting CPDT trainers pre-kid and hopes to pick back up on this work when things “settle down”. Her specialities are teaching behavior chains and creating small space management solutions.
Noorhee is a multidisciplinary artist and writer living in Brooklyn with two kids and a dog. She’s a former English teacher turned homeschooling parent, with a focus on early childhood, neurodivergence, and building rhythms that support nervous system regulation—for kids, dogs, and adults alike. She thinks a lot about snacks and small-space city living.
Kizz is a terrific listener and is incredibly compassionate with both me and Maggie.
